Nokia E6 and X7 Business Smartphones Announced

Nokia this week introduced two new addition to its business phone portfolio, the Nokia E6 and theNokia E7. The two devices are the first Nokia smartphones to come packed with the updated Symbian OS, which includes usability enhancements, new icons, a faster browser, improved text input and a redesigned Ovi Maps app.
Based on the company's successful Nokia E71 and E72 devices, the Nokia E6 feature a 2.46-inch TFT VGA (640 x 480) 16.7 million colour display, accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor, ambient light detector, a full QWERTY keyboard, 8 megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom, 720p HD video recording at 25 fps, secondary VGA camera for video calls, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot for up to 32GB of extra storage, Wi-FI, HSDPA and Bluetooth 3.0.
The Nokia X7 is more of an entertainment-focused smartphone with a large 4-inch nHD (640 x 360 pixels) AMOLED display, which is ideal for gaming, an 8 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording at 25 fps, 8GB internal memory and a microSD card slot. The X7 comes preloaded with Galaxy on Fire HD and Asphalt 5 HD games.
The new OS update, named Symbian Anna, will also be shipped on Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6-01 devices, as well as available to download on previously purchased models of the same smartphones. There's no word on the launch date and price.
