Google App Inventor for Android Goes Public

Remember Google's pet project that launched as a closed beta back in July? Looks like the Android creator has decided to make Google App Inventor available for everybody.
The App Inventor for Android lets you build applications for your Android-OS-based device directly from your browser. The software has been tested on multiple non-coder groups and it appears to be easy to use, users only having to drag pieces together to form the bigger picture. The app also allows you to play around with the phone's hardware sensors, such as the accelerometer, in order to make the app react under certain conditions.
Although it's a web application, you'll still need to install some software on your Mac / Linux / Windows machine before you can get started. For more information, visit googlelabs.com.
