It's being reported that Sir Richard Branson will be launching a brand new iPad-only Magazine. The news comes after News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch revealed his plans to launch the "The Daily", an iPad newspaper app in early November.

According to other rumors, Apple is already getting ready to launch iOS 4.3 this December to add app subscription support.

The Daily, which will make its debut in the US, is going to be a weekly newspaper and is expected to sell for 99 cents. News Corp is said to have already hired about 100 people to work on the "paper", which will not be available in print or browser form.

Virgin is holding a press event in New York on November 30, where Sir Richard Branson will reveal the "Project" magazine, which will cover subjects such as business, international culture and travel.

In a statement last month, Apple said that it has sold over 7.5 million iPads since launching the tablet device in April of this year. Depending on the success "The Daily" and "Project", we might see other publications follow suit.
