ipad nytimesAccording to reports, or rumors as some might call them, Apple is already preparing to release iOS 4.3 somewhere around mid-December, not even a month after the introduction of iOS 4.2.

The new 4.3 update is said to bring content subscription to Apple's mobile operating system, like News Corp's table-only version of "The Daily" newspaper, which was pretty much confirmed by News Corp CEO Rupert Murdoch in an interview earlier this month.

Apple is also expected to hold a press conference about the update on December 9. The official announcement will supposedly be made by both Steve Jobs and Rupert Murdoch.

In addition to application subscriptions, the iOS 4.3 update may also fix initial issues with AirPlay.

The iOS 4.2 update was released earlier this week and it featured wireless music streaming and printing, multitasking and folders on the iPad and the "Find my iPhone" service.
