AT&T Announces Motorola Flipout, Bravo and Flipside Android Devices

In a move to add more variety to its smartphone lineup, AT&T yesterday announced that the introduction of three new Android 2.1 devices, the Motorola Flipout, Motorola Bravo and Motorola Flipside.

Unveiled by Motorola last summer, the Flipout features a 2.8-inch (320 x 240 pixels) QVGA pivot design touchscreen, a five-row QWERTY keyboard, a 3.0 megapixel with digital zoom and fixed-focus, 512 MB internal memory with a microSD card slot for support for up to 32GB, FM Radio Receive, 3.5mm headset jack, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi. The device will be available for the price of $79.99 with a 2-year contract starting October 17.

The Motorola Bravo comes equipped with a powerful 800 MHz processor, a 3.7-inch (480 x 854 pixels) WVGA touchscreen, a 3.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and digital zoom, video capture, playback and streaming, FM Radio, 512 MB internal memory, 2GB MicroSD card included in the box, aGPS and eCompass. AT&T is launching the Bravo on the same date for $129.99 with a 2-year contract.

Last, but not least, the Motorola Flipside is an HSDPA device that features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.1-inch (320 x 480 pixels) HVGA display with pinch to zoom gesture support, 3.0 megapixel camera with digital zoom, video recording and playback, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 2GB MicroSD card in the box, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth 2.1 and Flash Lite. The Flipside can help business users stay connected to work with full push corporate e-mail, support for Microsoft Exchange and unified inbox. The Flipside will cost you $99.99 with the same 2-year contract.
