Motorola Charm Android 2.1 Smartphone Announced

motorola charm frontMotorola today announced the upcoming availability of Motorola Charm, a touchscreen smartphone packed with Android 2.1 that will be offered exclusively to T-Mobile USA costumers. Motorola Charm will be the first device in the US to feature an enhanced version of MOTOBLUR built on Android 2.1, which syncs information such as messages, emails, photos, contacts easy streams from Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail and more.

Some of the features included in the Charm include a 2.8-inch touchscreen, 3.0 megapixel camera full QWERTY keyboard, Adobe Flash enabled Web browsing, full suite of Google services (Search, Maps, Gmail Android Market), pinch to zoom, two-finger swipe and CrystalTalk PLUS for enhanced audio and call quality.

Motorola and T-Mobile are planning to launch the Charm this summer. No exact date or price was revealed.
