Verizon CEO Wants to Offer the iPhone

Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg said on Tuesday that he wanted the carrier to sell the iPhone, but did not confirm if it is in fact coming. Rumors have been circulating lately that Apple is getting ready to launch a CDMA version of the iPhone, which will most likely be carried by Verizon.
Apple already said in January that they're happy with the partnership with AT&T, but nothing is for certain. Apple is holding a special iPhone event this Thursday, where they'll most likely introduced iPhone OS 4.0 and a possible new iPhone. A new partnership announcement is not excluded.
