Good news for touchscreen Windows Mobile owners. Microsoft finally updated the Facebook touch client to version 1.2, which has been available to non-touchscreen users for the last few weeks.

In the initial version, users had the ability to check out status updates, the news feed and upload photos and videos from the phone. Facebook 1.2 allows users to like and comment friend posts, get access to friend requests and photo tags, read / create wall posts, send messages and update their profile pictures. The new app also will allow sharing of photos and status updates across Windows Live services.

Facebook 1.2 is currently only on the US Marketplace. Users from outside the US need to change to "World View" in order to get the update.
