Great news for those of you looking to get T-Mobile's upcoming HTC HD2 smartphone. The Taiwanese based manufacturer decided to raise some of the specs of the HD2 before the US launch.
RAM has been increased from 448MB to 576MB, while ROM got doubled from 512MB to 1GB. Storage has also been improved, so instead of a 4GB microSD card, US HD2 customers will be getting a 16GB card out of the box.
So what's up with the unexpected upgrade? Is T-Mobile getting ready for a Windows Mobile 7 launch? Guess we'll find out next month.

Will you still be able to switch out the SIM card & use it with AT&T?
Unless you get it unlocked prior on ebay or private dealer, for $700-$800 but that's with the older hardware. Keep your eyes peeled.
