Apple iPhone OS 4.0 Features Leaked

The rumor mill has been working overtime since Apple announced the January 27 conference. Speculators are hinting that the company will launch a new tablet device together with iPhone OS 4.0 and possibly a refreshed iPhone to go with it.
New rumors have just surfaced regarding some of the features of the upcoming iPhone OS. It is reported that there will be multi-touch gestures OS-wide, new multitasking capabilities and a new syncing ability for the contacts and calendar apps. The iPhone OS 4.0 is also expected to feature many graphical and UI changes to make navigation easier and more efficient, so we might be seeing a refreshed homescreen.
The update is rumored to only work on the iPhone 3G and 3GS, without getting into details. That's about it. Pretty vague, but I hope it's enough to chew on it till next Wednesday.
