As promised last year, Vodafone UK has finally jumped on the iPhone bandwagon by launching the iPhone 3G and 3GS.

Vodafone customers looking for a cheap iPhone can get the 8GB iPhone 3G model for free with a monthly plan of £35 ($57), which is the minimum plan. Those who want a taste of the iPhone 3GS will still be getting the device for free, but will have to pay a minimum monthly plan of £45 ($73) for the 16GB model or £75 ($122) for the 32GB version.

Vodafone is staying positive and is expecting first day sales to reach 50,000 units. Let's just hope they'll have better luck with it than Google with the Nexus One.
