T-Mobile Offering Free Calls To/From Haiti

Last night, T-Mobile USA announced customers that wish to make calls to or received calls from Haiti will not be charged in an effort to help those affected by the earthquake that took place a few days ago.

T-Mobile subscribers will continue to have free calling until the end of January and will also applied retroactively for calls made on January 12th.

T-Mobile USA users who are now roaming internationally in Haiti will also be able to make and receive calls for free. Finally, the carrier promised to send telecommunications equipment to Haiti that includes generators and phones to help rebuild the wireless infrastructure.
