Good news for existing T-Mobile customers. Google is lowering the price of the upgrade to the Nexus One Android-based device to $279.
Early adopters who already purchased the smartphone for the original price of $379 are getting $100 rebates.
That means the new Nexus One pricing will go like this: $179 with a new 2-year contract, $279 upgrade for current T-Mobile users and $529 for an unlocked Nexus One.
