The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2a has shown up on Sony's US website and it looks like a North American launch is getting closer and closer.

The Xperia X2a is the updated version of the Xperia X1, announced almost a year back. The device runs Windows Mobile 6.5 and features a larger 3.2-inch WVGA display, an 8.1 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, 110 MB of internal memory, full QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo Bluetooth, WiFi and 256 MB RAM / 512 MB ROM.

There's no date set for launch, but you can sign up to get a notification when it happens.

Ah yes, but the Xperia X10 is the successor to the X2a, and the X10 is almost here.
