Sprint and LG have announced the upcoming launch of the LG Lotus Elite and the LG Rumor Touch, successors to the LG Lotus and LG Rumor.

The LG Lotus Elite features dual 2.4-inch QVGA screens, expandable MicroSD memory slots for up to 32GB of storage, 2.0 megapixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard, dedicated shortcut keys for social networking, email and text.

The LG Rumor Touch comes equipped with a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording, MicroSD card slot supporting up to 32GB of storage, 3G data on Sprint's EVDO Rev. 0 network and built-in GPS.

Sprint will be launching the LG Lotus Elite on January 10 for $99 with a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate. The LG Lotus Elite will be available on February 14.
