The new device will come with an updated design, 16GB of storage, which is twice what the original Pre had, Touchstone-compatible back cover and the lack of the navigation button.

It also features a slider-keyboard, 3.1-inch (480 x 320 pixels) multi-touch display, 3 megapixel camera with video capture, 3G, EV-DO, WiFi, aGPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Another interesting addition to the Pre Plus is the 3G Mobile HotSpot, which allows users to share their 3G connection with up to five WiFi devices.

Verizon will begin shipping the Palm Pre Plus on January 25 for an unknown price.
