Telus today announced plans to bring the first Android-powered device to Canada with the introduction of the Motorola Milestone (better known as Droid), which was also announced for Europe earlier this month.
For those who are wondering, the Milestone has the exact same features as the Droid, except for the less cooler name and the addition of multi-touch pinch zooming to the browser. The Milestone will still be sporting a 3.7-inch widescreen display, 5.0 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo Bluetooth and a full suite of Google apps, like Maps, Talk, Mail and YouTube.
Telus will be launching the Motorola Milestone in Canada in early 2010. The price was not revealed, but the European version will sell for about $600.
