Microsoft Exchange on Moto Droid to Cost Extra - Wrong!

There are many confusing articles online and other rumors circulating that Verizon will be charging an extra $15 a month for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support on the ultra-hyped Motorola Droid with Android 2.0. This information is false.
The cost of the Verizon plan for the Droid will depend on what kind of account you have. So if you have a personal account or a family plan, the data will cost $30 a month. This also includes Exchange support. If you have a business account, the price of the plan is $45 a month. And this is the same for every smartphone, be it Windows or Android.
Hopefully, this will help clear out some of the confusion. As a reminder, the Motorola Droid will go on sale this Friday, Nov. 6 for $199.99 with a 2-year contract.
