AT&T has announced that they will allow VoIP applications such as Skype and Vonage to run on the carrier's wireless network. Previously, these apps could only work via WiFi. This change could signal the introduction of Google Voice. We'll know soon enough.

"iPhone is an innovative device that dramatically changed the game in wireless when it was introduced just two years ago. Today's decision was made after evaluating our customers' expectations and use of the device compared to dozens of others we offer," said Ralph de la Vega, AT&T CEO.
