After months of waiting, AT&T and HTC have finally announced the launched of the HTC Tilt 2 (right) and the HTC Pure (left) smartphones running Microsoft's newest Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.

Designed for business customers, the Tilt 2 features a high-resolution 3.6-inch widescreen WVGA display, which can be tilted to reveal a large QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera, dual speakers and dual microphones with noise cancellation, Straight Talk, which allows simplified conference calling and activation of the speakerphone by simply turning over the device.

Equipped with TouchFLO 3D, the HTC Pure is an all touchscreen smartphone optimized for one-hand use. Featuring a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor and expandable memory.

The HTC Pure is already available at AT&T retail stores nationwide and online for the price of $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. The HTC Tilt 2 will be available in the weeks to follow for $299.99 after the same rebate. Both phones come with a 2-year contract and a $70 minimum plan is required.
