nokia x6 music frontToday at Nokia World in Stuttgart, Nokia introduced three new handsets: the Nokia N97 mini, Nokia X6 and the Nokia X3.

Nokia has just introduced the X series dedicated music phone line-up, which for starters will include the newly announced X6 and X3. At a first glance, the Nokia X6 may seem to be the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic killer and with the features this thing's packing, it very well could be.

The 3.2" touchscreen display will have 640x360 pixel resolution, up to 16.7 million colors and a built-in accelerometer for display rotation. Memory-wise, the X6 will include 32GB of internal memory with microSD card slot for expansion. The camera is the same as the one found of the previously announced N97 mini, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. The phones browser will include Flash Lite 3, allowing users to watch videos on YouTube.

The multimedia aspect of the Nokia X6 allows users to enjoy both music and video playback. The large internal storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, 35 hours of music playback and the ability to use other apps while listening to music should make this device a real competitor to Apple's iPhone.

Nokia will be selling the Nokia X6 music phone for an estimated retail price of €450 starting in the fourth quarter of 2009.
