Sony Ericsson T715 Slider Phone Announced

Sony Ericsson today introduced the newest addition to its slider phone line-up, the Sony Ericsson T715, an ultra compact device which slides down to reveal a large keyboard that makes SMS and email faster and easier.

The T715 features a large 2.2-inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) screen, viewable even in direct sunlight, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Photo light 3.2 digital zoom, 90 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot for extra storage, access to Google Maps, to both local search and directions, fast browsing with 3G network connection, FM radio with RDS

It also comes packed with smart desktop feature, direct reminders of appointments, notes and special animation to remind you of birthdays and other events.

Sony Ericsson will start shipping the T715 slider phone in selected markets in the thirds quarter of 2009. No price was revealed.
