According to rumors, AT&T will be launching the BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphone a few weeks sooner than expected. The carrier announced the Curve 8900 earlier this week and was planning to release it this "early summer".

Also known as the thinnest and lightest BlackBerry with a QWERTY keyboard, the Curve 8900 will feature built-in GPS location-based services support, WiFi, a 480x360 pixel LCD screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with digital zoom, flash and image stabilization, video recording, music player, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and a microSD/SDHC memory card slot with a 256MB card included in the box.

AT&T will be selling the BlackBerry Curve 8900 for $150 with a 2-year contract. T-Mobile also launched the Curve 8900 back in January and was selling it for $200.
