Microsoft to Launch Windows Mobile 6.5 in May

17 Apr 2009 | Microsoft , Smartphone , Software | 0 comments

According to a blog post made by Microsoft today, the company will be launching the latest version of their mobile operating system next month on May 11th, almost 6 months ahead of schedule. The original launch date for Windows Mobile 6.5 was set for the end of 2009.

This is probably a smart move on Microsoft's part and will allow them to be ahead of the game for a short period. Rumor has it, Palm will launch its Pre smartphone together with the highly expected webOS in May and Apple is most likely to introduce a new iPhone as well in June with the iPhone OS 3.0. So we'll just have to wait and see.
