Better late than never. After a few delays, Palm has finally set a launch date for their newest smartphone, the Palm Treo Pro. The device was supposed to be released at the end of February, but was delayed due to memory issues.
The Treo Pro will begin shipping on March 15 on Sprint's Mobile Broadband Network and will run Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1, making the Pro the first Palm device available with Internet Explorer Mobile 6. Other features will include GPS, Wi-Fi, a full QWERTY keyboard and touch screen.
Sprint will be selling the Palm Treo Pro for $199 with a 2-year contract.
