$2.5 Million iPhone Mod Announced

Looks like the D&G Gold RAZR and the Nokia 8800 Gold makers need to get back to work. Something just as useless but way more expensive has been announced. Austrian jeweler Peter Aloisson has created an iPhone 3G mod called the "Kings Button" and it's worth $2.5 million.
The jeweler replaced the home button with a 6.6 carat diamond and the case outline with a solid 18 carat yellow, rose and white gold on top of which he placed 138 smaller diamonds.
It's really nice to look at, but this thing is just as useful as the "I am Rich" iPhone app. Let's see those 8 idiots people will have enough dough to upgrade their phones.

Some people have too much free time.
Just plain dumb. Imagine losing that thing at the bar?
This guy is hopeless, i agree: he has too much free time or he has useless like his gold iphone. Whatever it is, it could have been wasted on something more useful. Look what the world is coming to.PFFT.
