In non-CES related news, Sony Ericsson today announced the launch of their newest Walkman phone, the W715. This handset will be available exclusively to Vodafone customers.

The features list looks like this: 2.4-inch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera with 3.2x digital zoom, Shake Control, which switches tracks and control the volume by shaking the device, auto rotate, Google Maps for Mobile

Vodafone is planning to launc the Sony Ericsson W715 Walkman phone in the first quarter of 2009.

this looks awesome. I can't really tell, but it looks pretty slim. So we won't see this in the US?

A very nice phone. The biggest plus for me is push email. I can get gmail instantly on my phone, just like Blackberry. Quite easy to setup (configuration is detailed on gmail setting page). Sony Ericsson W715 is the best phone i've ever owned!
