sony ericsson w508 thumbCES 2009 - You don't have to be an insider to guess what Sony Ericsson had planned for today. We pretty much guessed that there was going to be at least one Walkman phone present at the SE booth, and here it is, the Sony Ericsson W508 Walkman phone.

But what we didn't expect is that the cool new thing about this one is changeable Style-Up covers. I remember doing that with a 5110 back in the day.

Feature-wise, the W508 has nothing new since their last announcement. The clamshell opens up to reveal a 2.2-inch 262 color TFT scratch-resistant screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with 3.2 digital zoom, video recording and shake control. You'll also get a 1GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card in the box, which will come in handy, considering that the W508 only has about 100MB of internal memory.

As always, Sony Ericsson never reveales prices, but said it will start shipping the W508 Walkman Phone in the second quarter of 2009.
