That's right, electronics retailer Best Buy has started selling refurbished Apple iPhone 3Gs at a $50 discount to new models. This means that you will now pay $149 for the 8GB version (instead of $199) and $249 for the 16GB version (instead of $299).
And just like the new ones, the refurbished iPhone 3G models also come with a two-year AT&T contract. These prices apply to phones that were returned to the store within 30 days of the initial purchase.
As you might have heard, Wal-Mart also started selling iPhone 3Gs recently, giving customers an incredible $2 discount for both the 8GB and 16GB models.
AT&T's online offer, which included a $100 discount for refurbished iPhone 3Gs ended on December 31.

it's actually a good price. generally refurbs are better than new models. any previous problems they had in the manufacturing process, have been fixed. so if you're not obsessed about your iphone being shiny and new, you might get a good deal out of this.
