by poo poo on Nov 16, 2008

the quickfire sounds totally awesome I think I'm going to flget it for my birthday. I'm A big picture and tested person so I'm sure this phone will be the one 4 me. Also this will be my first qwerty phone and at&t phone so I hope it's very user friendly

by Carolina on Nov 16, 2008

Well for christmas i either want the quickfire or the pantech matrix. I went to at@t to check them out yesterday and i liked them both a lot. What i didnt pay attention with was the thickness. Does anyone know which one is thinner? And which one should i get? They are both awesome fones.

by Lysa <3 on Nov 17, 2008

I can't decide between the samsung propel or the at&t quickfire.. i'm really thinking i like the quickfire better just because it has a touchscreen and everyone else seems to like it too if you read some of the reviews on it... but i have also thought about if i would break it or not, who knows.

Help Me OUT, please!

by MOm on Nov 20, 2008

the propel would be nice to see though because a one way slider with a full keyboard i have the Orange and black slider some what like it so it would be nice to see it :)

by lisa on Nov 22, 2008

i just got the pantech quickfire last week and the touch screen is so un responsive its terrible, it s way worse than the sidekick. Today i just got the new pantech matrix, and it is amazing. Has everything i want, and more. Great, great phone get it!

by jade on Dec 7, 2008

0hmygosh....i need help people... im a girl from hawaii and i want a really good phone and I was thinking about the "Quicckfire" or the "Propel"... can someone please get at me because i dont know what to pick!

by Shane on Dec 9, 2008

I really want the quickfire. At first I thought I wanted the propel, then I tried it at the store and the keys were way to cramped for me, plus im tired of the samsung set up UI. Then I saw the green quickfire and I fell in love, and the keys were rly nice and the touchscreen wasn't a big seller for me, it was simply the fact that the screen was so large that I loved the most. And I hear the call quality on it is EXCELLENT

by jonesy on Dec 23, 2008

i am getting quickfire for x-mas it will be awesome so no one say it is bad okay.

by damon on Jan 11, 2009

dang.......i cant decide between the slate or propel.....my fran has a propel but i dont like the keyboard or how it slides......the slate is cheaper than those 4..........i like its keyboard cause i text 24/7....ill go with slate!!!!!!

by Addie on Feb 7, 2009

the slate has the best keyboard! i just got that one today with my upgrade! i was gonna get the matrix, but the keys felt really mushy. i tried out the quickfire too, and i didnt like the touchscreen, and the propel's keys were too cramped for me.

the slate was really the only one i didnt try, but i went with the risk and im glad i did cause i LOVE it!!!!!! seriously, they keyboard is better than a blackberry!!!!

by Danielle on Feb 7, 2009

were in the process of buying my mom a new cell phone and i want her to get the qwerty keyboard because she texts me alot and i believe that it will be easy for her but can someone tell me if the pantech slate is easy to use and operate? she needs a phone that doesnt require a lot of difficulties. all she needs to be able to do is call and text is the pantech slate the phone for her needs??

by brendan on Feb 17, 2009

the propel rocks buy it. i love it im only 11

by Tasha on Feb 20, 2009

If you have the Propel ---

Have you had any issues with it?

I bought mine 3 weeks ago and it already is starting to glitch.
when i move the screen up the backlight turns off and i can't see anything so i have to guess what i am typing.

i love the phone but i want it to work properly again!!!

any suggestions?

by Dee on Feb 20, 2009

Tasha,
Just go to your settings and set the back light timer for a longer period of time then it won't turn off so quickly. I learned that today.

by martha on Feb 21, 2009

idk but i heard the quikfire touchscreen stinks and the matrix breaks the first day u have it--

by Tonya Martinez on Feb 24, 2009

I have the quickfire , and it is the worst phone I have EVER purchased ! The screen freezes , and the screen goes out all the time . Everyone I know that has it ; HATES IT .

by carly on Mar 15, 2009

i have the propel its soo cool. but one thing i dont like about it is the camera, its not that great but it works. anyway my fran has the quickfire and i hate it. personaly i think it is ugly. plus the touch screen really sucks. also the slider is very weak and scratches easily. oh and its pretty bulky. this is wat i think of the quickfire so i would recomend the propel.

by CallA on Apr 2, 2009

I have the quikfire! IT STINKS there was a recall on it so they dont sell it anymore

by Luc on Apr 5, 2009

I dunno wat phone to get, i am planning to get the Pantech Matrix, but is it a good phone ? If not what other phone do you recomend for a young teen, i dont like touch screen phones so that rules out acouple.. Any ideas ?

by fredrick on Apr 20, 2009

the slate is the best phone out there right now. my sister owns the quick fire and she hates it. the touch screen gets irresponsive at times and after a couple weeks of having it, she dropped it and now her c, space, and back buttons dont work at times. you have to press them extra hard to get them to work. My brother owned a pantech matrix and after only two days of having it, he slid it the scrren right off of the phone. After he purchased a Pantech Slate and said it was the best thing he has ever done. The only possible bad that about it is that its battery runs out but if you charge it everyday while you sleep, it should be fine for the whole day. So get the Slate because it is clearly the best out of these other phones

The Pantech Matrix looks like a really good phone to get. It realy looks nice and easy to use. Right now I have the Samsung A737..... It is a really nice phone ans well, but I think I want to get a new one now!!! :):):):):):):):):):)

by Emily on Apr 27, 2009

okayy i have the pantech slate!!! IM 15 and i love it i have had others phones but this ones the best one of my friends have the quick firee it SUCKS dont ger it. the propel is ok i have a nother friend with it recoumaend the pantechh slate itss the best fast easy to use keyborrad is easyy the matrixx sucks!!!!!! ;p BUT THE PANTECH SLATE ITZZ AHMAZINGG I LOVE MY MOFO PHONE:D

by kaygee. on May 25, 2009

the quickfire is freaking terrible. it's so annoying. the touch screen is not responsive and the screen freezes up frequently. i have the quickfire in orange and although the color is cool, the phone is very big and thick. it also has poor battery life for those who text 24/7. service is very difficult to find. i would NOT reccomend this phone.

by Anna on Jul 22, 2009

I have the Pantech Slate, I love it, but I can't put music on it, so that like sucks.

by elizabeth on Aug 17, 2009

i love the pantech slate i dont have it but my bff does and i might get it

by bob on Aug 22, 2009

the matrix is the best im going to to get in a couple days!

by Kaykayy on Oct 21, 2009

I've had the pantech slate for a little over a year now, and I love it. It's a very simple phone to use, and they keyboard is awesome. The buttons are just the right size and they stick out enough so it's easy to text fast. My only problem with it is that I'll be sending a text and randomly instead of actually sending it, the screen will say "network failure", and then you have to go into your outbox and try to send the text over and over again until it finally says it's sending the message. But that doesn't happen very often, so it's east to deal with.

quickfires are the best phone ever everyone should have one over pantech's anda propel
