Sony Ericsson had presented their new environmental concept phone last week which they call as the GreenHeart phone. This phone is not designed to be sold in the market but rather, to prove that a phone that is environmentally friendly is possible. This phone focuses on the idea that a phone can be environmentally sustainable all throughout. This phone is made of materials that are either recycled or are bio-plastics. It has a bioplastic housing while its keypad uses recycled plastic and its charger is known as a zero charger with 2.5 mW of power while its user manuals is HTML-based so there's no need for paper but rather, you can just check it over through your PC. Ecomate and its environmentally conscious packaging is also a great idea that wraps up the entire idea.

Well, with regards to its aesthetics, you can say that it's not the most stylish phone around but it's really not that bad. The fact that it's a product of a company's will to be more environmentally conscious is definitely a big plus!

Will other companies follow suit and is this a glimpse of what lies in the future? Who knows but it's definitely amazing if it will.
