Apple today released the 7.7 version of iTunes, which includes the much awaited App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
There are over 500 apps ready for download and more than a quarter of them are free. Unfortunately, you only get to browse through them, as Apple has yet to release the 2.0 firmware for the two devices, which will take place tomorrow together with the launch of the 3G iPhone.
Some of the free apps worth mentioning are Six Apart's TypePad app, the Google Mobile app, eBay Mobile and the PayPal app.
So if you're curios, go ahead and visit the App Store, pick out your apps and wait for tomorrow's firmware launch.
