Sony Ericsson announces the C905 8.1 megapixel camera phone

I want to have this phone. it's cool. luxurious and elegant. a must have gadget for young professionals like me. I wonder how much it is?

I'll just hope that Telecom 3 round the corner will supply this....really looking forward to this product.

Well,no doubt the specifications are like wonders but sony is still missing something important and that's the lens. Why don't they use carl zeiss optics? Besides that, sony should really change to symbian for better performance and if they really want overthrow nokia, it's time they make some changes and not just increasing the megapixels of the phone or add-in GPS as consumers want to have a phone with good performance and high quality camera plus media player.

I think 8mp and the add-in gps is a good thing for this phone. It is a camera phone after all.Carl Zeiss lens on mobile phones isnt all that. They are just desirable because they have been promoted by nokia. The good thing about sony ericsson phones is they dont hardly ever break. You want an internet phone, get an internet phone. You want a walkman phone, get a decent mp3 mobile. You want a camera phone, get this. Its very good at what it is

if u think carl zeiss lens doesnt do much for a camera fone then i have 2 say u do not know what u are talkin about. check out d camera quality of k800i, d 1st sonyericsson fone wit carl zeiss lens although it's 3.2 mega pixel.
It broke my heart when i found out that in spite of the ground breakin innovation that d sonyericsson C905 is,it does not have carl zeiss lens

The last and most significant announcement made today by Sony Ericsson was the introduction of their latest Cyber-Shot handsetm the Sony Ericsson C905, which features a stunning 8.1 megapixel camera with Xenon camera flash, 16x of digital zoom, auto-focus, smart contrast, image stabilizer and video recording and playback.

Memory wise, the C905 comes equipped with 160MB of internal memory. The good news is that Sony Ericsson packed in a 2GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card in the box to go with it.

The C905 also features a large 2.4 inch 262k color TFT scratch-resistant mineral glass display, Wi-Fi, GPS and aGPS, IM, media player, FM radio and stereo Bluetooth with A2DP

Sony Ericsson will start shipping the C905 Cyber-Shot in Night Black, Ice Silver and Copper Gold starting Q4 2008.
