Sony Ericsson today introduced the XPERIA X1 mobile web device, probably intended to rival the iPhone. And by the looks of it, it pretty much looks like one.
Running Windows Mobile, the XPERIA X1 arc slider comes packed with a 3 inch, 800 x 480 pixels, 65k color TFT touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, video recording, 400 MB of internal memory and microSD card support.
Other features include high data transfer rate with HSDPA/HSUPA and WiFi, Internet Explorer Mobile, aGPS, stereo Bluetooth with A2DP, Windows Media Player Mobile, FM Radio, Java, USB support and yes, it has MMS.
Sony Ericsson will start shipping the XPERIA X1 in black and silver version in the second half of 2008.

Good looking phone. As long as it has Exchange Active Sync and is not tied to a slow EDGE network I am all over it.
The iPhone is a beautiful phone, but no 3G, no Exchange Active Sync and tied to Cingular were deal breakers.
I think is very nice,but i also think it cost too in Africa precisely Ghana.I wont to ask if you can open your outlets here in Ghana so that it will reduce the price for us.

I agree, it looks like a bit of mix between a sidekick and iPhone, in a high-tech way.
My mother says as long as its UNDER or less than 700-600, she would get two. It looks mighty expensive.
And no offense, iPhones are WAY overrated. My brother dropped his twice (and it has PADDING) and it's already having malfunctions. Though I have to admit both SKLX is amazing to look at, I want a phone which no one really has.
