Motorola CEO Ed Zander resigns

After four years as CEO of Motorola, Ed Zander today announced that he will no longer hold that position starting January 2008. Zander will remain the chairman of the board of directors until May 2008.
Motorola will replace Zander with current President and COO Greg Brown, who joined the company in 2003 and served as COO since March.
