At the Symbian Smartphone Show in London, Nokia has announced that it will be adding a touchscreen interface to the S60 software platform.
The new touch user interface will have support for tactile feedback, which means that users will get a pulse when tapping on the display. It will also support stylus input and have the ability to silence the phone when receiving a call just by putting the device face down.
And as a reminder to Apple, the S60 mobile software platform will feature Flash support, which will be built-in the new S60 browser, meaning that you'll be able to access YouTube and flash gaming sites.
Nokia is planning to release these technologies to all S60 device manufacturers starting next year.
