Following the success of the Touch, which sold about 800,000 since it went on sale on July 22, HTC Europe today announced the new Touch Dual.

The only difference between the Dual and the original Touch is the slide-out keypad, 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA connectivity for high-speed downloads, extra RAM and storage space.

Running on Windows Mobile 6 Pro, the Touch Dual will come packed with a 2.6" 65k color TFT QVGA (320x240 pixels) display, a 2.0 megapixel camera and a secondary camera POP/IMAP/SMTP/Push, stereo Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM and a microSD card slot.

Orange will be the first carrier to roll out the new device in U.K., France, Romania and Poland starting sometime this month.
