There was no official word whether the Nokia N81 was coming to the US or not, but today the FCC went ahead and approved it. The N81 was announced last month at the Go Play event in London together with the 8GB version of the famous N95 smartphone.
Let's recap the features: two versions, one with 8GB of built-in memory and the other with up to 4GB, 2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, 3G, WLAN, stereo Bluetooth with A2DP and more.
The Nokia N81 will probably start shipping in the fourth quarter of this year. The estimated price is around 430 euros ($600) for the 8GB model and 360 euros ($500) for the other one.
