Now that the Foleo is out of the picture, Palm can finally focus on what it does best: smartphones. The company today announced together with Vodafone Europe the new Treo 500v smartphone that will run on Windows Mobile 6.
The new Treo 500v 3G/UMTS device will come packed with a large, high-res display, 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture, 150MB or memory, microSD card slot, Internet Explorer Mobile browser and full QWERTY keyboard.
There isn't a price set yet for the Treo 500v, but it has been confirmed that it will launch sometime in October.
