LG to provide YouTube on its phones

After announcing the Google Phone last month, which is nothing more than a regular phone with basic Google apps on it, LG made yet another announcement regarding a partnership with YouTube that will allow users to watch and upload videos using their phones. As you know, the iPhone also has a YouTube app, but it will only allow you to watch videos, not upload them.

Unfortunately, LG will only enable this feature on future handsets. My guess is that the new handsets will feature higher quality video capabilities. LG will also apply a new user interface to make it easier to watch and upload content.

This is all the info we got for now. Expect the first YouTube-enabled LG handsets to be available at the end of the year.
