If you decided to wait for the more sleek looking black version, your wait is finally over. After announcing it in April on the same day as Verizon Wireless, Sprint today made the leap and launched the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition.

The 8830 World Edition comes equipped with a 65k color TFT display (320 x 240 pixels), a Qualcomm MSM6550 processor, 64MB RAM, Media Player, microSD slot for up to 2GB of extra memory, QWERTY keyboard, trackball, Bluetooth and also a built-in GPS.

Sprint is selling the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition for $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate and with a 2-year contract.
