Next version of iTunes to sell iPhone ringtones?

Beware ringtone freaks! There seem to be some rumors floating around that the next version of Apple's iTunes (7.3) will have a new ringtone feature that will let you convert any song into a 30 second ringtone with a "Turn into Ringtone" option. Of course this service is not for free, it will cost you $0.99 per converted song, which is the same price you pay for an actual full length song!
And considering the fact that Apple won't allow you to set your songs as ringtones on the iPhone, which is pretty lame, this rumor is more than plausible.
iTunes 7.3 is required for the iPhone, so we will surly be seeing new features. Hopefully, it will be a software fix so you could set your songs as ringtones. We'll just have to wait and see tomorrow.
