Sprint and Palm have today launched the new Treo 755p smartphone, the upgraded version of the 700p, which also landed on Sprint a little less than a year ago.

The Treo 755p runs on Palm OS 5.4.9 and it comes equipped with a 65k color, 320 x 320 pixel TFT touchscreen, Intel XScale 312MHz processor, 128MB of RAM, miniSD card slot, a 1.3 megapixel camera with 2x digital zoom and EvDO. Did I say upgraded version? All of the previously listed features are already available in the 700p, even the Bluetooth is version 1.2.

However, the 755p is beautifully redesigned and it doesn't contain an antenna. It is also the first Treo to include Google Maps for mobile and built-in Microsoft Direct Push Technology for e-mail.

The dual-band CDMA2000 Treo 755p will be available beginning mid-May for the price of $279.99 with contract.

I just bought a 700p two months ago and don't feel sorry! It's practically the same thing .. almost! And I prefer GSM anyways.
