Surprisingly enough, Sprint and Verizon have both announced today the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition smartphone.
Features include a 65k color (320 x 240 pixels) TFT display, 64 MB of RAM, microSD card slot, Qualcomm MSM6550 processor, built-in GPS, a full QWERTY keyboard and trackball navigation.
Verizon's BlackBerry 8830 will be available in May for $299.99 after a $100 rebate with a two-year customer agreement, while the more sleek looking one from Sprint will launch later in July. Pre-registration for Sprint's 8830 will begin tomorrow on their website.
