Nokia N95 starts shipping

23 Mar 2007 | Nokia | 2 comments

Nokia announced that they have started shipping the Nokia N95 multimedia phone practically everywhere except the US. The N95 is part of Nokia's newest Nseries handsets and was announced back in September 2006 together with the N75. This 2-way slider phone also received Popular Science magazine's "Best of What's New" award less than two months later.

The Nokia N95 runs on Symbian OS and it features a 2.6" QVGA 16 million color display, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, GPS and Maps application with maps available for more than 100 countries, microSD slot, 3.5 mm audio jack, Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) technology and USB.

Price hasn't changed since the announcement, it will still be around 550 euros, which means about $735.
