After launching the world's slimmest phone, the world's slimmest slider and the world's first 8GB hard disk smartphone, Smasung today unveiled yet another record breaking handset, the V960 featuring the word's first optical joystick.

So what is it with this groundbreaking feature? Apparently, the optical joystick gives the users the feeling that they are working on a PC. The sensors will detect your finger movements and navigate through the menu just like the cursor of a mouse. I have to see a live demo of this to understand it properly.

Anyway, the Samsung V960 comes equipped with other features like 2.12" (240x320 pixels) 262k color TFT display, 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, MP3 player, Bluetooth and USB. Official launch will take place in Korea at the end of this month.
