The third Sony Ericsson phone unveiled today in London was the Sony Ericsson Z550a, the American version of the Z550 announced in May.
The Z550a is a Quad Band GPRS 850/900/1800/1900 clamshell phone, and it features a 262k colour TFT display, 220 x 176 pixels, 128 x 36 pixel STN sub display, 1.3 megapixel camera with 4 x digital zoom, video recording/playback, MP3/AAC Support, FM Radio, 25 MB of internal memory, Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot for up to 1 GB of memory, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth.
The company didn't say anything about the launch date or the price, but we suspect it may launch in October 2006, just like the Z558, announced earlier today.
