BlackBerry 8703e launched by Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless and Research In Motion today introduced the BlackBerry 8703e operating on Verizon Wireless' EV-DO network.

The BlackBerry 8703e features a high-resolution LCD screen, intelligent light sensing that automatically adjusts LCD and keyboard lighting levels to provide optimized viewing in indoor, outdoor and dark environments, full 35-key QWERTY keyboard, push email, dedicated phone keys, smart dialing, conference calling, speed dialing, call forwarding, built-in speakerphone for conference calls and Bluetooth support for use with headsets and car kits.

The BlackBerry 8703e will be available from Verizon Wireless online on September 17 and in retail stores starting September 18 for the price of $349.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.
