Motorola introduced yet another phone today, the Motorola MOTOFONE. It's not a RAZR, which is a good thing, because we've had too many RAZRs to deal with today. An important thing to mention here is that the MOTOFONE is the company's slimmest handset at approximately 9mm thin.

The MOTOFONE is an entry-level handset, built for people who have yet to use one. This phone will also use Motorola's newest interface, which is based on more icons and voice instead of text, to make things more easier for a first-time user.

Using the Electrophoretic Display (EPD) technology, aka ClearVision, the MOTOFONE provides a high-contrast screen that is viewable even in bright sunlight.

The MOTOFONE is expected to be available in the second half of 2006 in both GSM and CDMA (called MOTOFONE F3c) models.
