LG VX8300 launched by Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless and LG today announced the availability of the LG VX8300 mobile phone, the latest addition to the line-up of V CAST music-enabled phones. This handset can be considered the successor of the VX8100, also launched by Verizon Wireless almost a year ago.

The LG VX8300 features a 262k color, 176x220 pixel internal display and a smaller, 65k color, 96x96 pixel external display, 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and 4x digital zoom, Instant Messaging, external keys for easy access to V CAST Music, microSD card slot and Bluetooth 1.1.

The LG VX8300 is available for $99.99 after a $50.00 mail-in rebate and a 2-year customer agreement.
